Every time you turn on the TV, see a movie or pick up a magazine, you see celebrities and how fit and beautiful they are.
But don’t beat yourself up because you don’t look as gorgeous as they do. These women have to maintain their image. And unfortunately, there are a few statements that have led people to believe that beauty comes natural to them.
Here are some that you may have heard:
“I’m not wearing any make-up.” A few entertainment personalities have admitted to having their pictures photo-shopped. Even Lady Gaga owned up on this one. “There’s this idea that it’s all natural, but everything has been staged to look natural,” she said. “Don’t you think that what’s on the cover of a magazine is quite artificial?”
“I was born with thick, fast-growing hair.” We’ve seen celebrities have short hair one day and long the next. Hair grows at the rate of half an inch per month so having longer hair would take some time. Most certainly hair extensions were involved.
“I was in a bikini six weeks after having a baby.” If you hire a trainer and work out hard for three hours a day, 7 days a week, you can most absolutely achieve this. Otherwise, it takes about eight months to a year.
Bear in mind that models and movie stars are paid to create the fantasy of quick results minus the hard work that goes along with achieving those results.
Good health and beauty are never a free ride. Work with your aesthetician to steadily achieve the results you want.
That’s always the best path to take anyway. Be glad you don’t have the pressure of perfection weighing down on you!
